How to virtualize Android on Windows and Mac easily with Bluestacks

At Duopc, we are very eager to emulate all kinds of operating systems. We have already taught you many times to virtualize Mac in Windows, as well as other operating systems based on Linux. Emulate mobile systems is also possible, especially if we refer to free systems like Android. So much so that there are several options that we have to virtualize it, and today we will teach you how to emulate Android on Windows and Mac in a simple way through one of the best emulators of today. As you can read in the title, we refer to Bluestacks program.

There are many advantages in this respect to other similar programs. Of all of them, the ones that most attract our attention are their excellent optimization even in less powerful equipment and best of all: the execution of Android applications in any operating system through individual tabs. Likewise, the development team recently announced that Fortnite for Android will arrive to the emulator after his departure, so it will be an incentive for those who do not have a powerful computer to run computer games.

Download Bluestacks free

The first thing we will have to do to emulate Android in our computer whether it's PC or Mac, it's downloading Bluestacks. We can do it by pressing In the following link or through the Bluestacks official website. Once we have downloaded it, we will only have to install it on our computer as if it were a common application or program. Of course, we must take into account that we will have to have minimum requirements of at least 2 GB of RAM and 4 GB of available storage (preferably SSD) to run the program. Otherwise, it is more likely that the operation of the same is not appropriate.

Configure Bluestacks to emulate Android

The next step to emulate Android through Bluestacks will be to configure it. After having installed it on our computer, we will open the mentioned program and automatically start loading the system. Just after we will see two options (Access to Play Store and Communication between applications) that we will have to activate to run Android without major problems.

There are times when the program may not get to run on Mac-based systems. To do so, just go to Security and privacy within the System Preferences and give Allow in the section of Bluestacks.

After this, Android will finish loading and we will see, finally, the System Configuration screen, where we will introduce our Gmail account and the date and time of our region. When we have added both Android data will finish loading and will show us the typical Home screen, although this time something changed due to the customized launcher of Bluestacks.

Install Android applications on Mac and Windows through Bluestacks

We already have Bluestacks installed on our computer and we want to install applications and games of all kinds, how can we do it? Through the Play Store, of course. As we just mentioned, Bluestack has a custom launcher with a series of applications ready to download in the virtual machine. To download, as simple as clicking on these or go directly to the Play Store, which is accessed by switching from tab to Start (in the top bar open tabs are shown) and clicking on the App Store icon.

When it has finished installing, the application in question will be displayed both on the desktop and in the Android launcher. Now we can make use of it as if it were a native application.
